The President of the State directs to provide urgent aid to those affected by floods and torrential rains in Sudan

On August 21, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him”, directed to provide urgent humanitarian aid worth 25 million dirhams to those affected and displaced by torrential rains and floods in Sudan, and to contribute to supporting the improvement of living conditions of the affected population and the families of the victims.
The directives of His Highness, the President of the State, may God protect him, come within the framework of the solidarity of the UAE and its people alongside the brotherly Sudanese people in these current circumstances.
The relief aid also aims to support the Sudanese efforts and the capabilities of the concerned institutions in containing the humanitarian repercussions resulting from the torrential rains and floods that hit large areas in brotherly Sudan.
This aid confirms the depth and strength of the brotherly relations that bind the two countries
