Her Excellency Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemy, Minister of State for International Cooperation, affirmed that the next stage requires adopting innovative means that enhance the effectiveness of our international system and transform countries and regions stricken with crises into entities that have a constructive role in addressing the challenges of the times.
Her Excellency said during the country’s speech that she delivered to the general debate of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York: “As we are on the threshold of a new phase of the international system, our choice in the UAE is for the slogan for this phase to be peace, recovery and prosperity within the framework of an open, existing world order. On a solid network of international relations in which we are launching new paths of joint cooperation in the fields of economy, sustainable development, advanced technology and scientific research.
