The Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Cup race begins the day after tomorrow at the Sharjah Racecourse

The day after tomorrow, Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club, in cooperation with the Emirates Horse Racing Authority, will organize the third race of the Sharjah Longines track for the 2022/2023 season, the Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan Cup race on the land of the Sharjah Longines track in the club, sponsored by Al Marwan Contracting Group, the official sponsor of the race.

Purebred Arabian horses, horses of local production, and purebred horses will participate in the race, with a total of 73 horses, with 6 horses in reserve.

The race consists of 6 runs for different distances and levels:

The first half: It is a round dedicated to purebred Arabian horses of parity and within the classification at the age of 4 years and above, the UAE generation for a distance of 1000 m, with prizes amounting to 40 thousand dirhams, with the participation of 16 horses, with one horse in reserve.

The second half: It is a round dedicated to purebred Arabian horses of local production, at the age of 4 years and over, for a distance of 2000 m, with prizes amounting to 40 thousand dirhams, with the participation of 7 horses.

The third round: It is a round dedicated to purebred Arabian horses of equal age from 4 years old and older than the local production, provided that the horses are within the classification for a distance of 2000 m. The prizes for this round are 40 thousand dirhams, with the participation of 16 horses, with one horse on reserve.

As for the fourth round: it is a parity round dedicated to purebred Arabian horses, classified at the age of three and four years and older, for a distance of 1700 m and its prizes are 40 thousand dirhams, with the participation of 16 horses, with 4 horses in reserve.

And the fifth round is the main round – His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan Cup: Presented by Al Marwan Holding Group, and it is a round dedicated to purebred Arabian horses (prestige) and classified at the age of four years and older from the local production of the United Arab Emirates for a distance of 1200 m and its prizes are 100 thousand dirhams with the participation of 7 horses

The race concludes with the sixth round: (The Longines Master Collection half), which is an equal round dedicated to purebred hybrids, classified at three and four years of age and over, classified for a distance of 2000 m, and its prizes amount to 40,000 dirhams, with the participation of 11 horses.
