Abu Dhabi Police warned the public against sympathizing with beggars and giving them money and not believing their methods through which they aim to sympathize with people to obtain material and in-kind benefits, with fabricated stories and tricks that beg the public at the doors of mosques or in markets and roads.
The Abu Dhabi Police stressed the need not to respond to the misleading and fraudulent methods of beggars, and their illegal aims from which they derive huge fortunes, and called on benefactors to spend money in official charities approved by the state, which deliver aid to those who deserve it, in a way that enhances preventive efforts, and establishes security and stability, on the Towards embodies community partnership.
It affirmed its continuation of its efforts to confront the scourge of beggary, which offends the civilized face of society, as a form of fraud and concealed fraud by using deceptive fraudulent methods.
Abu Dhabi Police called on the public to report cases of begging through the Command and Control Center
