Saudi start-up companies compete for $ 250,000 and visit the US Silicon Valley

Saudi Arabian companies are competing to win the G-Startup World Awards, one of the largest international competitions for companies and start-ups, which aims to attract international investment to the Kingdom and raise the efficiency of investment funds by channeling investments to promising companies, International markets.
The preliminary competitions for this year’s competition are held under the umbrella of several government agencies, most notably King Abdul Aziz City for Science and Technology, represented by Bader for incubators and technology accelerators, the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises and the General Authority for Investment. The competition is organized in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
The winners are expected to receive an investment of up to $ 250,000, visits to the Silicon Valley, as well as an opportunity to showcase their ideas and business ventures to representatives of major international companies interested in investing in start-ups.
Since 2010, start-ups in G-Startup have raised more than $ 17.2 billion in investments
