25 Million Revenues from Land Fees Revenue for North Riyadh Housing Project

The “White Lands” program of the Ministry of Housing revealed that the second installment amounting to SR 25 million was completed to complete the implementation and delivery of infrastructure services in the housing project west of the airport in Riyadh, indicating that this amount is part of the program revenues collected from fees imposed on land The first installment amounted to 25 million riyals, bringing the total amount of program income spent in the project to 50 million riyals.
The program explained in a press statement that Article 15 of the Executive Regulations of the White Land Fees stipulates that the amounts collected shall be spent for the development of infrastructure projects according to the following text: “The Ministry shall determine the disbursements – from the account of the fees and fines collected – on housing projects, and the receipt of Public utilities, and provide public services there. ”
The program confirmed that it has an integrated plan to allocate the revenues collected from fees in the development of infrastructure projects and the delivery of public services in a number of projects of the Ministry of Housing, where the Ministry will work during the coming period to follow up the need in a number of housing projects, Power stations, delivery of electricity and water services.
The “White Lands” program is one of the programs of the Ministry of Housing announced during 2016 and is applied in its first phase in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Makkah, while the total payment orders in the four cities amounted to 2500 payment orders for a total area exceeding 411 million square meters.
