The Saudi Investment Fund assigns banks to arrange the first issuance of green bonds

A document revealed, on Tuesday, that the Saudi Public Investment Fund assigned a large group of banks, including “Citi” and “JP Morgan”, to arrange the first issuance of green bonds denominated in dollars and multi-tranches.

Sources told Reuters this month that the PIF would issue the long-planned green bond this month or in October.

The fund has tasked BNP Paribas, Citi, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan to coordinate the issuance globally and manage the books, and the banks will arrange meetings with investors starting on Tuesday.
