Abu Dhabi Chamber discusses opportunities for commercial cooperation with Bosnia and Herzegovina

His Excellency Mohammed Hilal Al Muhairi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, met during his meeting this morning at the Chamber’s headquarters, His Excellency Sheriff Mujkanovic, Ambassador of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the country, ways to enhance the bonds of trade and investment cooperation between the business communities in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and Bosnia and Herzegovina .

The Bosnian Ambassador expressed his country’s interest in supporting opportunities to increase trade exchange between the two sides and the importance of introducing business environments to the most important promising commercial and investment sectors for investment that contribute to achieving common interests .. He called the Abu Dhabi Chamber to form a commercial delegation to review the opportunities and commercial investments available in Bosnia, especially since the business community in his country A business forum will be organized during the month of April, which will be an important stop for launching several investment initiatives that concern the private sector and foreign investments.

The Bosnian Ambassador praised the strength and strength of relations between the UAE and Bosnia and Herzegovina in various fields, noting that there are 30 to 35 thousand Emirati tourists visiting Bosnia and Herzegovina annually, in addition to the fact that many Emirati investments are concentrated in the real estate sector in the Bosnian capital, given the importance of tourism and what is enjoyed His country has geographical and natural advantages that make it a distinguished tourist destination.

His Excellency Sheriff Mujkanovic also discussed how to form a Bosnian Business Council, which could include businessmen from Bosnia and Herzegovina under one umbrella of the Business Council.

For his part, His Excellency Mohammed Hilal Al Muhairi stressed that the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry is fully prepared to consolidate joint cooperation with all Bosnian companies that are members of the Chamber and operating in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and in all Emirates in general, within the framework of the Chamber’s interest in supporting the private sector and creating appropriate climates for the work of foreign companies and attracting Direct investments, noting that there are more than 20 business councils in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, which in turn includes thousands of companies operating in various sectors and fields.

He said that the business councils operating in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi play a pivotal and important role through their corporate members in implementing development projects and achieving economic, social and urban renaissance in the emirate and supporting Abu Dhabi’s economic vision that aims to diversify sources of income and establish an economy based on knowledge and technology to build a better future for future generations, Stressing that the Abu Dhabi Chamber will spare no effort in providing all important data and information that will contribute to the formation of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Business Council in Abu Dhabi.
