Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI) today announced the award of a new initiative to SMEs in order to contribute to the economic vision of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and to achieve its vision as an institution that promotes the role of the private sector to be effective and influential locally, regionally and globally.
HE Mohammed Hilal Al Muhairi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI) said during a press conference held by the chamber that the sector of small and medium enterprises is one of the most important engines of economic growth and is classified as one of the most important mechanisms to support the productive structure. And to enhance the increase of investment and within the most important programs of the Abu Dhabi Plan which aims to develop this sector of business and promote the culture of its pioneers to participate in the process of economic growth based on knowledge and innovation and to increase its contribution to 70% of non-oil GDP by 2021 Thus enhancing the competitiveness of Abu Dhabi within the international competitiveness of business development and development.
