The Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Center announced the opening of registration and enrollment in the Space Explorer Camp, which is designed for students between the ages of 10 and 14, and includes a range of theoretical and practical workshops, activities and competitions that contribute to enhancing creativity among students while preparing them to choose future scientific majors.
The one-week camp will be held from December 19 to 22 for female students, and from December 26 to 29 for male students, with registration closing on December 18 and 25, respectively. The camp lasts for four days for each group, during which the participating students will learn about the UAE National Space Program. , space technologies and the diverse environments of the solar system.
Officials and members of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Center project teams, which include: the Emirates Astronaut Programme, the Emirates Mars Exploration Project – Hope Probe, the Mars 2117 program, the satellite development program, and the leadership of the camp program that will be held in the facilities of the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center. Participants will have the opportunity to tour the various facilities of the Center and its advanced space laboratories, and participants in the camp will learn about everything related to space by learning about practical engineering challenges.
