Entertainment and awareness activities for more than 300 workers in Jebel Ali

The Positive Spirit Initiative and the Jebel Ali Police Station participated in entertainment and awareness activities for workers in the Jebel Ali region, organized by DP World, in cooperation with strategic partners, with the participation of more than 300 workers, in appreciation of their efforts and their important role in participating in the development movement in the country.

The events were witnessed by Major General Dr. Adel Al Suwaidi, Director of the Jebel Ali Police Station, Abdullah Bin Demaithan, Executive Director of DP World, Ayoub Al Mulla, Executive Director of Global Security Operations, Abdullah Lashkri, Secretary General of the Permanent Committee for Labor Affairs, and Buti Al Falasi, Team Leader at Dubai Customs. And Fatima Buhajir, coordinator of the Positive Spirit Initiative, and a number of officers and individuals from the various participating agencies.
Al-Suwaidi welcomed the attendees and all the workers joining the events, thanking them for all they provided in their various work sites, pointing out that these celebrations and events come within the framework of the Dubai Police General Command’s keenness to pay attention to this segment, which plays an important role in making life better, and also out of keenness To educate them about their rights and provide them with a suitable work environment, so that they can perform their tasks and increase their productivity, stressing their main role in the process of comprehensive and sustainable development in the process of renaissance and construction that the country is witnessing.

The activities included entertainment competitions and a variety of sports, in addition to horse and police dog shows, other performances by the Dubai Police Academy band, and tourist security patrols. They also listened to educational lectures given by the General Traffic Department, the General Department of Human Rights, and the General Department of Criminal Investigations and Investigations, represented by the Victim Communication Section.
