The first edition of the Retail Summit, launched today in Dubai, attracts more than 900 VIPs from the retail world.
The agenda of the summit includes 32 panel discussions with 80 global speakers on several topics including the challenges and opportunities faced by the sector and proposed solutions, including the growing impact of digital technology and changing consumer expectations.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, HE Hamad Buamim, Director General of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said: “The Dubai Chamber-supported Summit provides an important platform for sharing valuable insights into the current state of the retail sector in the world.
