Dubai Electricity is looking to collaborate with US universities and research centers

Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), during his meeting with HE Philip Frin, US Consul General in Dubai, discussed cooperation with US universities and research centers for the latest developments and research in the fields of renewable energy, water, automation and artificial intelligence.
During the meeting, which was attended by Khawla Al Muhairi, Executive Vice President for Strategy and Communication Sector at the Authority, the participants discussed the international competition for the design of homes based on solar energy, “Decathlon Solar Energy – Middle East 2018” organized by the Authority between 14 and 29 November. As part of a partnership between the Supreme Energy Council of Dubai and the US Department of Energy.
Al Tayer reviewed the projects, initiatives and plans launched by the Authority to achieve the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
