Participants in the forum focused, during their discussions, on critical issues related to climate and energy strategies, and efforts to get rid of carbon emissions, and confirmed their aspiration for the UAE to host “Cop 28”, to present ideas on a comprehensive and reliable energy transition, to effectively meet the challenges of climate change.

Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, confirmed during his participation in the Global Energy Forum of the Atlantic Council that the UAE views climate action as a basic pillar within its development plans, revealing that more than 70 percent of the UAE economy is currently dependent on non-governmental sectors.
