Why is the 5-year ID card issued to citizens for the age groups of 5-15 years?

– The authority clarifies that determining the validity of the identity card for citizens currently between a period of 5 years for a fee of 100 dirhams, or 10 years for a fee of 200 dirhams, depends on the age category of the applicant. The application is younger than 5 years and those over 15 years old, and the reason is due to the change in facial features and the need to take fingerprints and photo upon completion of the 15 years.
