US stocks close slightly higher

US stocks closed higher today.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed up 110.21 points, or 0.42 percent, to 26559.75. The broader Standard & Poor’s 500 Index <.SPX> was up 0.16 percent, or 4.58 points, to close at Level of 2905.03 points.
The Nasdaq Composite Index gained 1.98 points, or 0.02 percent, to close at 7998.06.
