His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, issued Resolution No. 14 of 2023, which stipulates the formation of the Supreme Committee for the Strategic Plan of the Fujairah Government 2026 and a statement of its work tasks and powers.
The “Fujairah Plan 2026” comes in implementation of the vision of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Muhammad Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, to develop an integrated system that supports the process of renaissance and development taking place in the Emirate of Fujairah in all sectors, and contributes to continuing to strengthen the pillars of comprehensive development in the country. The plan also works with guidance and follow-up. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, towards raising the level of government performance, improving the quality of life of individuals, and anticipating a pioneering future based on development, investing opportunities and building minds.
The strategic plan of the Fujairah government 2026 aims to develop various vital sectors in the emirate, most notably the tourism sector, economy, government work, infrastructure, and transfer the efficiency of human cadres, performance and services in government institutions to the best levels.
Various entities from the government and private sectors, academic institutions and civil society groups participate in the process of building the plan, with the aim of achieving the best results within the axes of the plan, and strengthening Fujairah’s future position as a leading Arab and international city.
The plan will work according to performance indicators that focus on measuring and implementing a number of key axes, through a series of major transformational initiatives and projects with the relevant authorities and institutions specialized in the targeted development sectors in the emirate.
The “Fujairah Plan 2026” is based on the axes of the national vision, “We are the UAE 2031”, which completes the country’s sustainable development process over the next decade and focuses on the economic, social, investment and development aspects. At all levels.
It is scheduled to complete the construction and drawing of the work paths of the “Fujairah Plan 2026” in November of this year, through joint work between government agencies in the Emirate of Fujairah, and under the supervision and follow-up of the Higher Committee for the Fujairah Plan 2026, its evaluation and monitoring of its periodic implementation.
