Mohammed bin Zayed arrives in Ethiopia on an official visit to strengthen cooperation relations

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, arrived in the capital, Addis Ababa, on an official visit to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, aimed at strengthening the friendship and cooperation relations between the two countries in various aspects.

At the forefront of his reception, upon his arrival at Bole Addis Ababa International Airport, was Dr. Abiy Ahmed, Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.

His Highness had an official reception ceremony, where the national anthems of the UAE and Ethiopia were played, while artillery was fired and a group of honor guards lined up to welcome the visit.
His Highness’s plane was accompanied by warplanes upon entering Ethiopian airspace to celebrate and welcome his visit. His Highness’s procession was accompanied by a number of horsemen on horseback, and a group of children chanted greetings, waving the flags of the two countries.
His Highness the President of the State is accompanied during the visit by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the State, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Presidential Court, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor for Affairs In the Presidential Court, Muhammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Secretary General of the Supreme National Security Council, Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Sheikh Shakhbout bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State, and Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al-Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, and Mohammed Salem Al-Rashdi, UAE Ambassador to Ethiopia, and a number of officials. The reception was attended by a number of ministers and senior officials in Ethiopia.
