Federal Taxation Manager: Raising awareness of the tax authorities to achieve a comprehensive awareness of the tax system

The Federal Tax Authority (FEA) has aimed to educate the economic sector inspectors in Abu Dhabi and Dubai on the application of value added tax (VAT) to various business sectors and the most important caveats to be observed in conducting business inspection campaigns. The legal procedures approved by the Commission to avoid falling into the irregularities stipulated in the tax procedures, and to alert the infringing acts to the need to rectify their situation.

The Federal Tax Authority has held meetings with the Ministry of Economy and Economic Departments in the country to discuss consumer protection measures, and a joint system of work has been launched to follow up the procedures of applying value added tax and combating violators and to promote measures to protect the rights of consumers and ensure the stability of markets.
