The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ZTE (HK) Limited at the Ministry’s headquarters in Riyadh as part of its plans to build a digital environment that captures, incubates and develops ICT minds and skills to achieve digital transformation to drive development in the Kingdom.

Dr. Al-Thunayan explained that the strategic partnership with ZTE has a supportive role in the ministry’s goals and plans for 2020, which focuses on investing in national cadres and enhancing the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship sector, especially with regard to future technologies such as artificial intelligence and internet.
