Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Economy and Emirates Foundation on Youth Development

The Ministry of Economy and the Emirates Foundation, an independent national institution working in partnership with the public and private sectors to establish community responsibility and raise the competencies of young people, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation and joint action and exchange of information and experiences in social welfare and youth projects and projects.
The memorandum was signed at the headquarters of the Ministry of Economy in Dubai, Undersecretary for Economic Affairs and Executive Chairman of the Emirates Foundation in the presence of the Assistant Undersecretary for the Support Services Sector at the Ministry of Economy and a number of officials and employees of both sides.
He said that this memorandum comes within the framework of the strong cooperation between governmental and non-governmental organizations to promote the various paths of sustainable economic and social development in the country and in support of its strategic objectives in human development and prosperity for the citizens of the State.
He stressed the importance of the MoU in providing a channel of effective communication and coordination between the Ministry of Economy and the Emirates Foundation to increase the exchange of knowledge, experiences and fruitful ideas related to youth development. He referred to the role of the MoU in launching and implementing long-term sustainable social programs to empower youth and enhance their role in the country’s growth process. Areas.
“Through the MOU, we aim at fruitful cooperation and exchange of information and experiences in the areas of social benefit, sustainability and social projects, in the interest of young people in particular and society in general, to achieve the aspirations of the wise leadership and vision of the UAE 2021.
The two sides agreed to form a joint working group to develop a framework for the specific areas of cooperation between the two sides during the next phase, as well as mutual benefit from the training activities established by each party and facilitate the procedures for obtaining intellectual property and patents for the innovations of the Emirates Foundation youth.
