Dubai, January 26 / The Dubai Ports Police Station warned against going to the sea in light of the current weather fluctuations, calling on the owners of boats, ships, boats, yachts and sea-goers to follow the weather and climate conditions and adhere to the instructions to ensure public safety and to prevent endangering their lives due to the strong sea currents and the high level of waves.
Colonel Dr. Hassan Suhail Al Suwaidi, Director of the Ports Police Station in Dubai Al Suwaidi, stressed the importance of adhering to the instructions and requirements set by the municipality and Dubai Police alike on beaches and marinas, and responding to the red flag signal, which means the necessity of not swimming or sailing.
He confirmed the readiness of the Ports Police Station to deal with all emergency incidents through its land and sea stationing points, which contain joint patrols from the “Maritime Security” and “Maritime Rescue”, in which rescue divers, boat drivers, water and bicycle drivers work 24 hours a day.
He explained that the joint patrols of the maritime rescue and maritime security patrols were distributed to 9 areas stationed in the areas of Hamriyah Port, Deira Port, Dubai Creek, the floating bridge, “Fishing Port 1” at the first Jumeirah stationing point, and “Fishing Port 2” in the second Jumeirah stationing point and “ Fishing Port 3″ in the third Jumeirah stationing point, along with the stationing point in Mina Seyahi, the “JBR” and “Dubai Harbor”, and the Hatta stationing point in cooperation with the Hatta Police Station.
Colonel Al-Suwaidi called on the owners of marine vessels to download the “Sail Safely” service available on the Dubai Police application in order to quickly respond to their reports in emergency cases. And on 901 in non-emergency cases, wishing everyone safety and security.
