A commemorative silver coin issued by the Central Bank

The Central Bank of UAE (CBE) today issued a silver commemorative coin on the occasion of the official opening of the currency printing company.
The face of the coin – which is 38.61 mm in diameter and 28.28 grams in weight – is estimated to contain 999Ag pure silver. The name of the United Arab Emirates is written in Arabic and English and the face value is AED 50 and the logo will be printed behind the coin.
The souvenir coin will be sold through the Central Bank at both the Abu Dhabi headquarters and its branch in Dubai, where it will be sold for AED 189
