Saudi Build 2019 concludes with over 23,000 visitors

Saudi Build 2019 recently concluded its 31st edition at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, where it received more than 23,000 visitors, with the participation of more than 520 major international and local brands from 34 countries. .
The Saudi Construction Exhibition 2019 was held from 8 to 11 Safar 1441H corresponding to 7-10 October 2019 in conjunction with the Saudi Exhibition for Stone Technology, Exhibition Series of Construction Equipment, Plants, Machines and Vehicles, Interior Design Exhibition, Saudi Construction and Automation Technology Exhibition, and sponsored by His Excellency. His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, who stressed its importance as it reviews the latest construction techniques and its positive impact on the growth and improvement of the sector in the Kingdom.
The Saudi Construction Fair 2019 held three high-level panel discussions on the sidelines of the exhibition, which included 18 sessions in which more than 20 speakers spoke, in addition to 15 case studies to benefit from the experiences and expertise, which included senior government figures and CEOs.
The first day of the exhibition was on “The Future of Building in Saudi Arabia”, which included a “High Level Panel: Enabling Innovations in Future Leaders and the Workforce”, in which participants revealed the exciting future of technological advancement in the Kingdom and how to make the country at the forefront of global innovation in the sector. The day also included two sessions. The first, “Enhancing Saudi Export Quality and Preparedness in the Construction Sector” focused on the readiness of local SMEs to pursue expansion opportunities from construction and infrastructure exports to international markets.
The “Contracting corner of the construction industry” session highlighted the important role of organizing and developing this sector to achieve the development goals of Vision 2030.
The second day of the session was entitled “Investing in Major Projects – Towards Saudi Vision 2030”, which included a study in the “Red Sea” project.
