The Australian-Australian Business Forum reviews ways and means of joint trade and investment cooperation

The UAE-Australia Business Forum, held today at the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), reviewed the prospects for bilateral cooperation and partnerships in various economic sectors and offered the opportunity for business participants in the two countries to discuss opportunities for cooperation and investment available to both sides.
The meeting was organized by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the UAE on the occasion of the visit of a high-level delegation from Australia headed by Roland Jabbour, Chairman of the Australian-Arab Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry Board of Directors of the Chamber, Hamid Mohammed Bin Salem, Secretary General of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, HE Mohamed Ahmed Amin, Acting Director General of Sharjah Chamber, Ahmed Jamee Al Qaisi, Director of Economic Department, Federation of Chambers, Mohammed Haj, Chairman of the Board of Directors, A number of departments and government agencies as well as representatives of the private sector in Sharjah and Australia.
The meeting, which was attended by 50 businessmen and representatives of trade companies, discussed areas of cooperation in education, training, food products, cereals, animal feed, electronic security, medicine, health care, tourism, mining, meat, livestock, real estate investment and human resources.
