Dubai, March 2 / Real estate transactions in the Dubai Land Department today amounted to more than two billion dirhams, as the department witnessed the registration of 628 pledges of allegiance, at a value of 1.78 billion dirhams, including 64 pledges of allegiance to lands, at a value of 485.74 million dirhams, and 564 pledges of allegiance to apartments and villas, at a value of 1.29 billion dirhams.
The most important land sales came with a value of 29 million dirhams in the Bukadra area, followed by a pledge of 23 million dirhams in the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Gardens area, and then a pledge of 23 million dirhams in the Merkad area.
Al-Habibiya 5th district topped the regions in terms of the number of sales, as it recorded 28 pledges, at a value of 86 million dirhams, followed by Wadi Al-Safa 3, with 13 pledges, at a value of 231 million dirhams, and a third in Jebel Ali, the first, with 5 pledges, at a value of 21 million dirhams.
With regard to the most important sales of apartments and villas, the sale amounted to 111 million dirhams in the Island 2 area, as the most important sale, followed by the sale of 70 million dirhams in the first Al Thanyah area, and finally the sale of 25 million dirhams in the first Al Khawaneej area.
The first area of Al Khairan topped the regions in terms of the number of sales of apartments and villas, as it recorded 85 pledges of allegiance, at a value of 166 million dirhams, followed by the Al Barsha area south of the fourth, with 76 pledges of allegiance, at a value of 55 million dirhams, and a third in Dubai Marina, recording 49 pledges of allegiance, at a value of 156 million dirhams.
The mortgages recorded a value of 157.44 million dirhams, including 10 land mortgages at a value of 40.66 million dirhams and 77 mortgages for villas and apartments at a value of 116.79 million dirhams.
As for donations, 23 donations were recorded, with a value of 129.07 million dirhams, the most important of which was in the Burj Khalifa area, with a value of 36 million dirhams, and another in the Dubai Marina area, with a value of 23 million dirhams.
