Dubai, March 22 / Real estate transactions in the Dubai Land Department today amounted to more than two billion dirhams, as the department witnessed the registration of 546 pledges of allegiance, at a value of 1.41 billion dirhams, including 58 pledges of allegiance to lands, at a value of 226.73 million dirhams, and 488 pledges of allegiance to apartments and villas, at a value of 1.18 billion dirhams.
The most important land sales came with a value of 14 million dirhams in the fourth district of Al-Habiyyah, followed by a pledge of 12 million dirhams in the Merkad area, followed by a pledge of 9 million dirhams in the fifth district of Al-Habiyyah.
Al-Habibiya 5th district topped the regions in terms of the number of sales, as it recorded 35 sales at a value of 122 million dirhams, followed by the first Jebel Ali region, with 6 sales at a value of 19 million dirhams, and a third in the city of Hind 4, with 3 sales at a value of 6 million dirhams.
With regard to the most important sales of apartments and villas, the sale amounted to 54 million dirhams in the Palm Jumeirah area, as the most important sale, followed by the sale of 33 million dirhams in the fourth Al Thanyah area, and finally the sale of 29 million dirhams in the Al Mamzar area.
Al Barsha, south of the Fourth District, topped the areas in terms of the number of sales of apartments and villas, as it recorded 44 pledges of allegiance, at a value of 51 million dirhams, followed by the first Khairan region, with 42 pledges of 124 million dirhams, and a third in the Business Bay, with 41 pledges of 64 million dirhams.
The mortgages recorded a value of 479.2 million dirhams, of which 18 land mortgages amounted to 337.33 million dirhams and 70 mortgages of villas and apartments amounted to 141.87 million dirhams.
As for donations, 36 donations were recorded, with a value of 201.18 million dirhams, the most important of which was in the second Al Sufouh area, with a value of 85 million dirhams, and another in the second Umm Suqeim area, with a value of 26 million dirhams.
