His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs in charge of Dr. Majed bin Abdullah Al Qasabi issued a decision to establish an organizational unit called (Municipal Center for Digital Transformation) in the Ministry to unify digital and technical works in the municipal sector.
The aim of the Municipal Center for Digital Transformation is to improve the customer experience in the services provided and to enable the secretariats to provide services in digital models in a flexible and fast way.It also aims to create an environment and culture that fosters innovation and participation and raise the confidence of the business sector in the center. Services.
The Center is responsible for the preparation, follow-up and implementation of the digital transformation strategy for the municipal sector in the technical and digital fields.It also specializes in the development, operation and management of common digital systems and solutions, representing the municipal sector in the national authorities in the digital fields, and providing digital requirements and data in the center’s specialties to the relevant authorities.
