His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qassimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, inaugurated today the new branch of the Lulu Hypermarket in Al Rayan Mall in Al Nahda area in Sharjah, belonging to the Lulu International Group.
Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qassimi, accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, toured the corridors of the new branch of the hypermarket and looked at the pavilions and sections containing the various goods that the hypermarket offers to consumers and the public.
During the tour, they were briefed on the range of specialized interior stores and various sections of the new branch, as well as the UAE production department from Sharjah, which included many agricultural products to encourage the local market and producers.
Following the inauguration of the new branch, His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, received a commemorative gift from the Chairman of the Lulu International Group, in appreciation of the opening of the Hypermarket.
The new hypermarket, which is the ninth branch of the Lulu Group in the Emirate of Sharjah and the world’s 168th branch, is strategically located at Al Rayan Mall in Al Nahda, Sharjah to meet the basic needs of shoppers.
The 100,000 square feet hypermarket is designed according to the latest concepts of retail layout and the latest technologies for easy shopping. The new store will serve residents of the Nahdha area and nearby areas.
The Lulu Group, the leading retail chain in the Middle East and North Africa region, continues its ambitious expansion strategy and is preparing to open 32 retail and shopping malls this year in the GCC, Egypt, Indonesia and Malaysia.
