The Saudi General Organization for Statistics (GaStat) issued the Saudi Real Estate Price Index for the second quarter 2018 through its official website. The real estate price index decreased by 0.7% compared to the previous quarter (Q1 2018). The decrease was due to the decline in the main sectors of the index, where the residential sector decreased by 0.8%, the commercial sector by 0.4% and the agricultural sector by 0.1% compared to the first quarter of the year. Ongoing. The residential sector decreased by 0.9%, the villas decreased by 1.7%, the apartments decreased by 0.6%, while the houses decreased by 0.1% (0.2%). In the commercial sector, commercial plots decreased by 0.4% compared to the previous period. At the level of the agricultural sector, agricultural land decreased by 0.1%.
