Digital service in commercial courts enhances the business environment

Twelve digital services within the Saudi commercial judiciary contributed to enhancing the business environment and raising the ceiling of performance and performance. This reflected positively on the beneficiaries and provided them with time and effort.
Among the services launched by the Commercial Justice Department at the Ministry of Justice are: “detailed inquiry of case, access to judgments, reminding and notification service, electronic filing, appeal, filing of first defense brief, notification of defendant, Meetings, inquiry on the status of the case, and bankruptcy requests. ”
The specialized commercial courts contribute to enhancing the business environment and creating an economic climate of confidence, stability and preservation of rights, encouraging and motivating investment in the Kingdom in line with the objectives of the vision of the Kingdom 2030, and achieving a qualitative transformation.
The Minister of Justice, the President of the Supreme Council of the Judiciary Sheikh Dr. Walid bin Mohammed Al-Sama’ani, issued a package of decisions that contributed to the speed of decision on the commercial provisions and the maintenance of their quality. Among these decisions was the approval of His Excellency by adding an article to the executive regulations of the Shari’a Procedure Law, Exceeding 20 days from the date of registration of the case, in addition to limiting the number of gross hearings to the consideration of commercial cases, not exceeding 3 meetings.
The ministry also stated that the decisions also include filing the lawsuit electronically without the need to attend, verifying the data of the court’s employees and recording it within a day, and informing the defendant through his mobile phone of the number registered in Abshar, in order to activate the notification by electronic means.
The ministry has enabled the beneficiaries to submit the first defense memo electronically without the need to attend, in addition to increasing the number of judges and departments. Cases with a value of less than 300,000 riyals are considered by one judge. Court review.
These steps contributed to raising the ceiling of achievement in the courts and commercial departments, which issued about 32 thousand judgments during the current year, which reflected the satisfaction of the beneficiary justice, shorten the effort and time on it, and achieve justice and the leap
