decrease in the trade balance in the first ten months of this year3%

Jordan’s statistics department released data showing that the trade balance declined in the first ten months of this year by 3 percent compared to the same period of 2017.
The total export coverage ratio of imports reached 38.1 percent during the same period of the current year, while the coverage rate was 36.5 percent during the same period of 2017, an increase of 1.6 percentage points.
The value of national exports during the period of measurement amounted to 3 billion and 800 million dinars, an increase of 3.9% compared to the same period of 2017, while the value of imports amounted to 11 billion and 800 million dinars, down by 0.5 percent from the same ten months last year.
