The Saudi Ras Al Khair Port achieved an increase of 70% in the total tonnage exported and imported for the month of November 2018 through its handling of 585,279 thousand tons compared to the same period of the previous year 2017.
While the port achieved a remarkable increase in total tonnage handling for November 2018 amounting to 152,584 thousand tons, an increase of (2,304%) compared to the same period of the previous year 2017.
The increase in handling rates comes in support of Ras Al-Khair Port for the King Salman Marine Industries Complex. The port received two ships loaded with crushed stone for the infrastructure requirements of the project, as well as increasing the handling of the phosphate material for 2018, “Ports” aiming at enhancing the operational and logistic services of the Saudi ports and upgrading their capabilities and capabilities in line with the objectives of the Kingdom Vision 2030.
