Saudi Aramco and Madan sign MoU to develop promising cities, empower local community and women work in industrial cities

Saudi Aramco signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Saudi Industrial Cities and Technology Zones Authority (MADON) to co-operate with them in empowering the local community, developing promising cities and enhancing women’s work in industrial cities. The Commission in Riyadh.
The memorandum of understanding signed by Saudi Aramco Vice President Nasser Al Nafisi and Madan General Manager Khalid Al Salem aims to enable the two sides to present development projects that enhance the promising urban economy by benefiting from the rich natural resources and the comparative advantages of the city. In addition to seeking to localize industries through development projects with high quality products that positively affect the Kingdom’s GDP, create new job opportunities and develop an environment suitable for women, persons with disabilities and those with limited income.
The memorandum states that Saudi Aramco will undertake the preparation of feasibility studies and plans of action for the establishment and development of projects, identify the partners to be cooperated with, and provide the proposed designs for the necessary facilities, while Madan provides sites for the proposed projects in their industrial cities, giving them the appropriate incentives, Hinder the launching of its activities.
Al-Nafisi pointed out that the signing of the MoU comes within the framework of concerted efforts to contribute positively to the development of our society and to work towards partnerships that contribute to the empowerment of the targeted social groups and the provision of services and infrastructure such as training, employment, machinery and equipment. The principle of empowerment, through a series of initiatives that are consistent with the objectives of the 2030 Vision.
Al-Salem said that the agreement with Saudi Aramco is part of Madan’s objectives and strategies in creating effective partnerships with the public and private sectors, And the national economy, in order to support its efforts to contribute to the implementation of the National Transition Program and to achieve the vision of the Kingdom 2030.
He added that the agreement contributes to the provision of community partnership services and the promotion of sustainable impact, the development of nursery services and care for the children of the beneficiaries, and the children of workers in industrial cities, in addition to providing technical, advisory and logistical support to the projects emanating from the memorandum.
