Good rain floods separate areas of the country. The weather condition ends on Saturday

Separate regions of the country witnessed, on Friday, good rains of varying intensity, as a result of the weather in the country, which ends today, Saturday.

Light rain began at 12 midnight, on separate areas of Abu Dhabi Island, Mussafah, Sas Al Nakhl, Yas Island and Al Shamkha, Abu Dhabi International Airport, Al Bateen Airport, separate areas in Abu Dhabi, Sweihan-Nahil Road in Al Ain, and heavy rain on Ras Musheireb and Makaseb in Al Dhafra Region, and the Airport. Dubai International Airport, Sharjah International Airport, separate areas in Ras Al Khaimah, and other separate areas of the country.

Yesterday morning, Friday, the lowest temperature recorded in the country was 8.6 Celsius in Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah, at 6:30 am. Jebel Mabrah recorded 10.3 Celsius, while Jebel Hafeet recorded 13.5 degrees Celsius. A corner in Al Ain city recorded 13.6 degrees Celsius, and Jabal Al Habn recorded 14.1 degrees Celsius.

The National Center of Meteorology appealed to individuals to exercise caution and take caution while driving vehicles during the rains, as well as with a lack of horizontal visibility, due to rain and winds that cause dust and dirt, and advised to stay away from places where water collects and flows into valleys.

Abu Dhabi Police called on drivers to exercise caution due to rainy weather conditions, and to adhere to the changing speed shown on the signs.

And the National Center of Meteorology expected that the weather today, Saturday, until Tuesday, will be partly cloudy to cloudy, with rain of varying intensity falling on separate areas, especially in the coastal, northern and eastern regions, and the winds are northeasterly to northwesterly moderate to brisk, sometimes strong with clouds. Its speed ranges from 20 to 30, reaching 55 km/h. The sea is of medium waves, sometimes turbulent with clouds in the Arabian Gulf and in the Sea of Oman.

On the other hand, the Executive Committee of the Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Team in Sharjah reviewed, during its meeting, which it held yesterday, Friday morning, via visual communication technology, its preparations and readiness to contain the expected air depression that the Emirate of Sharjah and its affiliated cities will witness.

The meeting was attended by Brigadier General Ahmed Haji Al Sarkal, Director General of Police Operations, and Colonel Dr. Ali Ahmed Abu Al-Zawd, Deputy Director General, and a number of officers with specialization in leadership, strategic partners, and representatives of federal and local authorities and departments in Sharjah.

The meeting discussed the readiness of the work teams and their role in enhancing security and protection, and preserving lives and property, during the phase in which the country will be affected by the depression. The committee instructed the public to exercise caution and follow the instructions that guarantee their safety and the safety of others, and not to go to the beaches, the sea, valley areas, torrential runoff, and low places.

The meeting discussed a number of measures and preventive measures that will be taken during the next phase, to limit the repercussions of the weather condition and mitigate its effects, represented in the cooperation of all segments of society with the competent authorities, to achieve the desired goals.
