Spain establishes a state company to manage 11 airports in Brazil for 30 years

The Spanish Council of Ministers agreed to allow Ena to establish the state-owned company, Blocko d’Unzi, in Brazil, to manage 11 airports for a period of 30 years. The contract is expected to be signed next February, and includes a condition to renew the period for another five years.

And the agency “Europe Press” reported that the group that includes the 11 airports recorded more than 26.8 million passengers during the fiscal year 2019, equivalent to 12% of the total passengers through all Brazilian airports. The group includes São Paulo City Airport, the second largest airport in terms of passenger numbers in the country.
