The conclusion of the sixth round of the Emirates Modern Sail Championship in Sharjah

The curtain fell on the final round of the UAE Modern Sailing Championship, which was organized by the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club in cooperation with the UAE Sailing and Modern Rowing Federation at Sharjah Beach for two days, with the participation of 5 clubs, including 60 male and female players.

On the first day of the tournament, Ahmed Al Hosani, Director General of the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, received Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, President of the Emirates Sailing and Modern Rowing Federation, who followed the competitions and praised the technical level of the participants and organizers for the efforts made to produce the sixth round in its finest form.

The results of the round in the category of Optimists under 12 years old resulted in Sizo Silo of the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club winning the first place, Simon Herostov of the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club came in the second place, and Marwan Al Marzouqi of the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club came in the third place.

In the category of Optimist Girls, Stelli Silo of the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club won the first place, Camelia Al Qubaisi from the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club came second, and Madia Al Neyadi from the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club came second.

As for the Optimist Open category, the first place was won by Saif Al Zaabi from the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, the second place was won by Sizo Silo from the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, and the third place went to Simon Herstoff from the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club.

In the open laser class ILCA 4, the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club was able to achieve the first three places, as the player Mohammed Al Zaabi achieved the first place, and the player Abdullah Al Marzouqi came in the second place and Majid Al Marzouqi in the third place.

In the ILCA 4 girls laser category, Nadine Tergonis from Dubai Beach Canoe Club won first place, Marwa Al Hammadi from Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club came in second place, and Yazia Al Mansouri from Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club came in third place.

In the ILCA 6 laser class, Sultan Al Owaisi from Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club came in first place, Mohammed Ismail from Al Marfaa team, and Leonie Bonaparte from Dubai Beach Canoe Club in third place.

In the last laser class, ILCA 7, player Adel Khaled won the first place, and Manolis Trigonis from Dubai Beach Canoe Club came in second place, and Mohammed Shahlama from Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club came in third place.

The second day witnessed honoring the winners and the first three places.
