The total assets of the UAE Central Bank increased by 1% during the month of September 2019, rising to about AED 427 billion compared to AED 422.61 billion in August of the same year.
According to data released today by the bank, the significant increase in total assets was supported by an increase in the balance of cash and bank balances of the Central Bank to AED 238.54 billion at the end of September this year compared to AED 234.11 billion in August.
Deposits at the central bank jumped to 130.34 billion dirhams in September from 116.2 billion dirhams at the end of August, according to statistics released by the bank.
The balance of other assets increased from AED 3.3 billion to about AED 6 billion. The balance of investment item closed at AED 52 billion. The balance of loans and advances reached AED 0.07 million.
