Jordanian remittances abroad increased to $ 1.2 billion

The total remittances of Jordanian workers abroad increased by 2.1 percent to the end of April this year to 1.2 billion dollars (1.388 million dinars), compared with 1.18 billion for the corresponding period of 2017.

On a monthly basis, preliminary data from the central bank indicate that total remittances rose by 2.3 percent in April this year to $ 319 million compared to $ 312 million for the same month in 2017.
