Abu Dhabi Economic Zone “: exempting the completed enterprises licenses since 24 months of late fees

The Department of Economic Development – Abu Dhabi (ADED) has issued a decree exempting the economic establishments that have expired for more than 24 months and applying for renewal of their economic license, liquidation or cancellation of all outstanding fees.
Khalifa bin Salim Al Mansouri, Undersecretary of the Department, stressed the keenness of the Government of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi to enhance the competitiveness of the business environment in the Emirate by issuing encouraging and stimulating decisions to the business sector to be an important and key partner in achieving economic development in the Emirate and the State in general.
He explained that the decisions of the Department on the exemption from expired economic license fees reflect the extent of the interaction and keenness of the Abu Dhabi Government to create an attractive investment environment by providing all necessary facilities, procedures and legislation necessary for the success of projects and investments of the business sector in the Emirate.
“The decision exempts all economic establishments of all types, sizes and activities in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra in order to support the business sector in the emirate, especially the small and micro businesses that make up the majority of the licenses,” said Mohammed Muneef Al Mansouri, Executive Director of Abu Dhabi Business Center.

He stressed that the Center is working on launching a package of supporting decisions for companies and institutions registered in the emirate to facilitate investment procedures and serve investors and the business sector in general
