Cement prices in the local building and construction market in the United Arab Emirates moved towards a slight increase at the end of the second quarter of 2022 compared to the first quarter of the same year, with a rate ranging between 1.8 and 2.8%, according to data from the Dubai Statistics Center.
Salt-resistant cement with a capacity of 50 kg increased by 1.8% from 14.53 in the first quarter of this year to 14.79 dirhams in the second quarter, while ordinary Portland cement of the same capacity settled at 11.46 dirhams per bag, compared to 11.15 dirhams, an increase of 2.8%.
