Customs duties on Indian and Turkish engine batteries

Dubai Customs has imposed a final anti-dumping duty on GCC imports of piston engine batteries with a capacity of 32 to 225 amps, which fall under the customs item (85071000) of Indian and Turkish origin.

The department added in a circular: The final anti-dumping duty on GCC imports is collected according to the final dumping margin that was determined as a percentage of the value (cif) of imports and at 39% a final dumping margin as a percentage of the value for car batteries of Turkish origin, as well as at rates of 8% and 28 5%, 22.4% and 41% on car batteries of Indian origin.
