Despite the arrival of Jordanian exports to nearly 140 countries around the world during the past year, it is concentrated in specific countries, where about 14 countries accounted for more than 80% of the Kingdom’s exports.
The Chamber pointed out that this concentration confirms the need for Jordan to exploit its access to other markets and intensify efforts to reach more national exports to these markets with the least relative weight, so as to reach higher export levels and geographical diversity that limits the impact of external shocks and the closure of non-traditional markets.
The United States market ranked first in terms of its attractiveness to Jordanian products, accounting for 24.9 percent of total national exports last year, accompanied by a rise in national exports to the US market by about KD 71 million, recording KD 1. 112 million.
