UAE evacuates its citizens from Florida to Washington due to Hurricane Ian

On Thursday, the UAE Embassy in Washington announced the evacuation of all Emirati citizens residing in Florida to Washington to ensure their safety due to Hurricane Ian.

And the embassy posted on its Twitter account: “At the instructions of Ambassador Yousef Al-Otaiba, the UAE embassy in Washington evacuated all Emirati citizens residing in Florida to Washington to ensure their safety due to Hurricane Ian. The Deputy Head of Mission Shaima Gargash, Dr. Rashid Al Kaabi and some embassy staff welcomed them.
