Ibrahim Al-Jarwan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Astronomy Society, expected that the Arabian Peninsula, the Middle East, Europe, western Russia, and Northeast Africa will witness a partial solar eclipse on October 25. The eclipse will be partially seen in the Emirates, at a rate of approximately 50%, which is the percentage of what the moon’s disk will obscure from the sun’s disk, and it may reach about 86% in northern Siberia.
