Jordan: Income and Sales Tax Invites taxpayers to submit income statements before the 30th of this month

The Association of Income and Sales Experts has renewed its call for taxpayers to submit income statements for 2017 before the end of the 30th of this month, the deadline for submission, in order to avoid additional fines due to delayed submission.
In a press statement issued by its chief lawyer Hashim Hamza on Thursday, the association appreciated the decision of the Income and Sales Tax Department to open all its branches, directorates and centers throughout the Kingdom on Saturday and next April.
Hamza stressed that this decision makes it easier for taxpayers and commissioners and gives additional time to enable them to hand over income tax returns, pay the amounts stated in them and hand over the required information and accounts. This helps relieve the pressure on taxpayers and the department and enable taxpayers, commissioners and financial managers to take advantage of the Saturday For many of them.
Hamzah appreciated the effort exerted by the Director General of Income and Sales Tax Department, Hossam Abu Ali, to overcome all difficulties for the taxpayers and taxpayers and to diligently facilitate and expedite the procedures and provide the best services to all categories that review the department as soon as possible.
Through its various activities, the Association seeks to raise tax awareness, increase voluntary commitment and horizontal expansion of registrants in the network of sales tax and income tax collectors.
