The World Bank raises the forecast for the growth of the non-oil sectors in the Sultanate of Oman by 2.6%.

Muscat Media In: The World Bank raised its forecast for the GDP growth of the Sultanate of Oman to 4.5% this year. The bank confirmed that the growth rate will continue at 3.9 percent during the year 2023. The growth rate in the non-oil sectors this year will reach 2.6 percent and 2.2 percent in the next year 2.23. It affirmed that the Sultanate will achieve financial surpluses in its revenues due to the expected increase in oil and gas prices. The bank also expected an increase in the per capita income of the GDP to reach 2.6% this year and 2.2 next year than it was in 2021, when it did not exceed 7% at the time.
