An official source in the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the Kingdom’s government has seen the statements issued towards the Kingdom following the issuance of the OPEC Plus decision on October 5, 2022 AD, which included describing the decision as siding with the Kingdom in international conflicts and that it was a decision based on political motives against the United States of America.
At the outset, the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia would like to express its complete rejection of these statements that are not based on facts, and mainly rely on trying to portray the OPEC Plus decision outside its purely economic framework. It is a decision taken unanimously by all the countries of the OPEC Plus group.
