KIA has launched the Digital License Service, which aims to provide the best services and facilities to improve procedures for investors. This is part of the Authority’s efforts to implement the latest technologies that will shorten the time for the investor.
“This technology will directly contribute to the delivery of investment licenses as an electronic copy of the registered entity’s registered mail to the Authority, in addition to enabling the applications of smart devices to verify the authenticity of the electronic version without the need to print paper,
Al-Suwail confirmed that the digital license is approved by all government agencies. The validity of the license can be verified through the TRA website or through all the electronic applications that support QR Code reading in IOS and ANDROID programs. Through rapid camera, the service has been developed so that there is more than one option to check.
He added that the data on the verification page is automatically updated, as the update or modification of the license is automatically reflected on the verification page, including the license version of the system, making the digital license more effective than the paper license, pointing out that it can not currently Print a copy of the digital license directly, a copy of which can be obtained through the channels of communication with the call center.
It is worth mentioning that the General Authority for Investment seeks to attract investments through facilitating and improving procedures. It recently reduced the procedures for issuance of investment licenses from two days to less than a day, through three main axes: restructuring the procedures, reducing the required documents, These procedures are in line with the National Transition 2020 initiatives and the objectives of the 2030 Vision.
