Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary General of the League of Arab States stressed the importance of the Arab private sector in supporting the development plans in the Arab countries, enhancing trade exchange between these countries, achieving a boom in the production and export of Arab goods and improving their competitiveness in international markets. Special attention is also given to trade in services, which has become a vital component of the national economies of various States.
This came in a statement issued today after the meeting of the Secretary General of the League, Nayel Kabariti, Chairman of the Federation of Arab Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture and Dr. Khalid Hanafi, Secretary General of the Union, to discuss the most important current activities of the Union and its efforts in coordinating the work plans of the Arab Chambers of Commerce, To strive for maximum integration in their work.
